The Code of Meeting Practice outlines guidelines for the behaviour of Councillors and members of the public at meetings of the Council.

The conduct of meetings is an indicator of good governance and well run meetings reflect an effective partnership and relationship between the governing body of Council and Council administration. Meeting procedures contribute to good public decision making and increase Council’s transparency and accountability to its community.

Council is seeking feedback from the community and written submissions will be accepted up to 5pm on Wednesday 18 December 2013 (allowing a submission period of 42 days).

Any person wishing to make a submission may do so in writing to the General Manager or by email.
