Project Update 23 October 2015

Wollongong City Council is pleased to announce that works will commence on the JP Galvin Park footpath south. The new JP Galvin Park footpath will extend from the entrance to Stuart Park central carpark, south to the existing North Beach pathway. The footpath was proposed as part of the Stuart Park Precinct Pedestrian Safety Improvements and Additional Parking project in 2014. The project can be viewed here.

Council is currently exhibiting the proposed northern extension of the southern footpath. The extension will link to the Stuart Park children's playground carpark and to the proposed upgraded JP Galvin Park picnic shelters. The proposed extension forms part of the JP Galvin Park Upgrades project and is on public exhibition until 16 November 2015.
