Consultation has concluded

The Community Participation Plan (CPP) explains how we’ll engage with the community on planning matters. All Councils are required to prepare a CPP. It replaces our current notification policy - Appendix 1 Public Notification and Advertising Procedures of the Wollongong Development Control Plan 2009 – which currently explains how Council exhibits development applications (DAs).

The CPP has been expanded to include all planning matters. It sets out the minimum time a development application (DA), planning proposal, or planning policy (new or updated) will be on public exhibition. When a proposal is on exhibition, you are able to read it

The CPP has been expanded to include all planning matters. It sets out the minimum time a development application (DA), planning proposal, or planning policy (new or updated) will be on public exhibition. When a proposal is on exhibition, you are able to read it, and let us know if you support the policy, or have any concerns.

You can review and share feedback on the Community Participation Plan from 25 September 2019 to 23 October 2019. We are interested in hearing the community’s thoughts on the new plan, and all submissions received during the exhibition will be reviewed. Following this, a report summarising feedback will be prepared and presented to Council. The draft plan will also be updated to include any necessary changes that were identified during the exhibition.
