The draft Planning Proposal seeks to:

  1. Amend the Minimum Lot Size map in the Wollongong Local Environmental Plan 2009 from 40 hectares to 1 hectare for a portion of the northern part of the site. This will facilitate the future subdivision of the site, enabling dwellings on each lot created.

The area to which this change would apply covers 16 hectares and the remainder of the site approximately 46 hectares would retain the 40 hectares minimum lot size standard.
  2. Retain the existing E2 Environmental Conservation and E3 Environmental Management zones that apply under Wollongong Local Environmental Plan 2009.

The draft Planning Proposal is on preliminary notification between 26 February 2014 and 12 March 2014.
